Some installs just stick with you — not because they’re the biggest or the boldest, but because the home feels warm the moment you walk in. This Hanukkah install in Anaheim Hills was exactly that. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we wanted to create something that felt serene, meaningful, and full of light.
The family asked for a look that stayed true to Hanukkah traditions while still blending seamlessly with their elegant, everyday space. Blue, silver, greenery, and soft winter whites became our palette — simple, classic, and so stunning once everything came together.
The Mantel That Set the Tone
The fireplace instantly felt like the heart of the home, so that’s where we started. We built a lush, full garland that draped gently across the mantel — the kind that brings movement and depth no matter where you’re standing.
Then came the magic touches: velvet navy ornaments, sparkling silver berries, metallic florals, natural pinecones, and those airy white feathers that add just the right amount of softness. As we layered piece by piece, the entire mantel shifted into this peaceful, glowing focal point. It felt elevated, but still warm enough to gather around.
A Front Door That Welcomes With Light
Stepping outside, the entryway became its own moment. The home already had a grand, beautiful black door — so we played into that contrast with fresh greens, icy silvers, and layered blues.
Fluffy feathers, satin ribbons, and bold ornaments framed the doorway in a way that felt celebratory without being overstated. It created this calm, elegant welcome that greets guests instantly — a “you’re home, come in, stay awhile” kind of energy.
Why This Install Felt Special
Every project has its story, and this one was about honoring tradition while giving the family a space that felt just a little more magical for the eight nights ahead. We loved blending textures, playing with depth, and seeing how the blue tones transformed the greenery. But more than anything, we loved how the home felt when we were done — calm, intentional, and ready for celebration.
